Providing Answers
Dr. Golden will provide and discuss with you a detailed report to explain her assessment of your child and test results, including any appropriate diagnosis. If necessary, she will include individually tailored treatment plans, wholly unique to your child. The goal is to understand how your child is developing and maximize their potential moving forward. Dr. Golden specializes in assessing and treating children on the autism spectrum, including the most difficult cases. Her care, love and understanding reflect how she treats each family she meets.

Evidenced based psychotherapy is available at Golden Assessments. A cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approach to addressing concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and disruptive behaviors is used. CBT has been found to be effective in treating these behavioral concerns in children and adolescents. Dr. Golden's approach to psychotherapy includes the parents/family in treatment of the child or adolescent. The level and type of involvement is structured according to the child/adolescents age, developmental level, and presenting concerns. Psychotherapy with Dr. Golden utilizes research to inform the therapeutic interventions and guide treatment goals. Dr. Golden's ultimate goal for her clients is that they gain the skills they need for psychotherapy to come to an end.

Golden Assessments does not accept insurance payments, but will provide you with an invoice that includes the information typically needed to fill out your insurance claim. We are happy to accept cash, check, or credit cards for payment. Rates will vary, depending on the level of assessment required. Please contact us for specific details.
